Hylia is our beautiful pick puppy from the Uber × Skye breeding. From the start, she showed an exceptional combination of sound structure, intelligence, and presence. She earned her AKC Trick Dog Novice title at just three months old - an early hint at her biddable nature and enthusiasm for learning. Balanced and athletic, Hylia never puts a foot wrong and still manages to charm everyone with her expressive face and confident ring attitude.
She made her debut at only four months of age with her co-owner, Paige Novotasky, winning Best Puppy in Show in a 59-puppy Beginner Puppy competition, then followed it up with a Puppy Group First the next day. Hylia finished her AKC Championship at just ten months old with two five-point majors and a Best of Breed from the classes, all owner-handled by Paige.
After a short break to mature, Hylia returned to the ring to finish her Grand Championship with a standout Best of Breed win in an entry of more than forty Aussies and an Award of Merit at the Orlando, FL Specialty under Australian breeder-judge Belinda Thomas. She went on to become a Multiple Group Winning special, earning multiple Group Firsts and numerous Group placements throughout her career.
Hylia concluded her specials campaign at the 2026 USASA National Specialty, capping off an incredible run that saw her finish the 2025 year ranked #14 All-Breed and #12 Breed, despite only being campaigned from August through December. Along the way, she earned many memorable wins, including Best of Opposite Sex at the 2026 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the 2025 USASA National Specialty Top 20 Judge’s Choice Award, back-to-back Select Bitch awards at the Northern New Jersey Australian Shepherd Specialties in 2026, Best of Opposite Sex at the Sunshine State Herding Group Show in Orlando, and Select Bitch at the Australian Shepherd Club of Central Florida Specialties.
Now retired from the specials ring, Hylia leaves behind an incredible show career and will focus on the next chapter of her legacy in the whelping box.
We are proud that Hylia has already produced her first AKC Champion offspring, our beautiful girl “Baby,” with more of her kids soon to be seen in both the conformation and performance rings.
