Link is the kind of dog you wait your whole life for—my true heart dog and constant companion. Bred through a co-breeding between myself, Pat Zapf, and Angelica Demont, Link came into my life during one of the most difficult chapters, shortly after the passing of his grandsire, Striker. In many ways, he helped put the pieces back together. From that moment on, he hasn’t left my side.
Though Link will never grace the AKC ring or stand at stud due to having only one descended testicle, he is the heart and soul of our home. He proudly holds the title of our honorary mascot, tagging along to dog shows as our biggest cheerleader, joining me on long walks through the park, and eagerly tearing into his monthly BarkBox delivery. In the future, we look forward to exploring performance events together and trying our hand at ASCA’s Altered Conformation classes.
Link is everything I could ever want in a dog—his temperament is joyful, intuitive, and endlessly loyal. He’s structurally lovely with a strong, level topline and the most beautiful dark almond-shaped eyes that seem to read my every thought. His expression is alert and intelligent, and his zest for life is contagious.
He may not wear ribbons, but he’s famous in all the ways that matter. And if you're lucky enough to follow his adventures, you’ll find plenty of snapshots of Link being his charming, lovable self on Instagram. |
