Midna was our top pick from the exceptional Ego x Skye breeding, and we are immensely grateful to Sue Mayborne for co-owning her with us.
Midna made an unforgettable debut at the Clermont County Kennel Club show, where she won Winners Bitch from the 6-9 month puppy class for 2 points under the esteemed Herding authority Mr. James Moses, marking her first competitive appearance. She then competed in the highly competitive Florida circuits in January 2021, securing Winners Bitch for a 4-point major under Judge Mrs. Pat Trotter and Winners Bitch/Best of Winners for a 5-point major under Judge Chantal Andrews. Impressively, she also earned three Reserves to 5-point majors during that circuit, all from the 9-12 month puppy class. Midna quickly finished her championship from the 9-12 month class at the Florida circuits, defeating over 35 bitches at just 10 months old.
Midna's success continued as she earned her Grand Championship a few weekends later and achieved her Silver Grand Championship by the age of two with limited show appearances. She made the final cut down to four bitches at the prestigious Orlando, FL shows in 2021, just before her second birthday.
In 2022, Midna had her first litter sired by GCHG Watermark Frat Party, producing nine beautiful puppies, five of which went to show homes and four are already champions. Her second litter in 2023, sired by frozen semen from GCH Stonehaven Bayshore Secret Strike, also produced nine puppies, with five destined for the show ring.
Currently, Midna is training and competing in performance venues, taking a break from motherhood to excel in Agility and Rally. Be sure to check back in July 2024 for her next litter announcement, as we will be repeating the highly anticipated Toga x Midna litter.
