From the moment he was born, Scorpion stood out as the clear pick male from our Toga × Gemma litter, carrying the unmistakable hallmarks of both parents. We are endlessly grateful to Gemma’s owner, Serena Ford of Hazelridge Aussies, for entrusting us with Gemma for this special cross and for her commitment to loving, raising, and supporting this promising young dog. Scorpion is everything we hoped for in this pairing and so much more.
He is the full package of structure, type, and personality. Scorpion boasts a classic Aussie headpiece, a solid and correct topline, and an impressive, ground-covering side gait that catches your eye the moment he steps into motion. His expression is one of his best features, with soft, sweet eyes that contrast perfectly with his goofy, lovable nature that always finds a way to make you laugh.
In limited showing, Scorpion has made excellent progress toward his AKC Championship and currently needs just one major to finish. He continues to mature with each outing and shows the same confidence and presence that made him stand out from the start. Outside of the conformation ring, Scorpion has truly found his passion in performance events. Under the training and guidance of Carrie Klaiber of Gatehouse Mastiffs, he has flourished across multiple venues, earning titles in barn hunt, coursing, and more. Of all his activities, dock diving has quickly become his favorite, where his enthusiasm, athleticism, and sheer joy are on full display every time he hits the water.
True to his Mortal Kombat inspired name, Scorpion continues to bring a “flawless victory” attitude to everything he does. With his versatility, drive, and love for work, he exemplifies the kind of dual-purpose Aussie we strive to produce.
Upon completion of his final health testing after he turns two, Scorpion will be available at stud to approved, health-tested bitches.
We are incredibly proud of Scorpion and grateful to Serena for her partnership. We look forward to watching him continue to excel in both the show and performance arenas as his career progresses. |
