Twila is a special girl from our final Midna litter, and one we have been excited about from the very beginning. As a daughter of our beloved AKC GCHS Hightide Trademark Twilight Princess "Midna" and sired by AKC GCH Alcazar Dream Lando At Heimsenda "Lando", she represents a meaningful combination of pedigree, consistency, and the continuation of a line that has been so important to our program.
Bred by Jillayne Parnell and Suzanne Mayborne, Twila has quickly made an impression with her presence, attitude, and natural ability in the ring. She is a balanced, athletic bitch with beautiful proportions and a strong, functional structure. On the move, she is fluid and effortless, while her natural confidence and animation make her hard to overlook. One of Twila’s standout qualities is her ability to free stack, stopping square and holding herself with maturity well beyond her age. Combined with her drive and willingness to work, she has proven to be both fun and rewarding to show.
Early in her career, Twila earned Winners Bitch and Best Puppy in Doswell, VA under Judge Polly Smith, going on to win the Puppy Herding Group. She followed that with a Reserve Winners Bitch placement to a major under Judge Cathy Daugherty, who offered many kind compliments on her quality and presence. Beyond her early success, Twila is a joy to live with. She is intelligent, engaging, and carries the same versatility and temperament that we value so highly in our dogs.
